Jamaican Used-Car Prices, 2019–2023: Up About Half

Asking prices for used cars in Jamaica rose about half between 2019 and 2023. The median advertised price went from J$1.3M in 2019 to J$1.99M in the first half of 2023, up 53%. Prices barely moved from 2019 to 2021; nearly all of the rise came in 2022 and early 2023. The same climb shows up model by model, so it is not just a shift toward pricier cars.
