Mitsubishi L200 Price in Jamaica (October 2026), Against the Hilux and Ranger

Prices as of 2 October 2026

The L200 is the pickup people search for when a Hilux costs more than the job it's for. It's Mitsubishi's one-tonne double cab, sold in some markets as the Triton, and the Sportero is the better-equipped trim. It's a short shelf in Jamaica, so the useful question is less "what does an L200 cost" and more "what does it cost next to the trucks it competes with".

How many were for sale?

On 2 October 2026, 8 Mitsubishi L200s were listed on Beego, two of them Sporteros. Five were in Kingston and St. Andrew, with one each in St. Catherine, Manchester and St. Mary. Seven were automatic. See the L200s listed now.

What you'll actually pay

The four L200s from 2021 or later asked J$5,380,000 to J$7,000,000, and the two 2023 Sporteros sat at the top of that. Older trucks were far cheaper: a 2017 asked J$2.8M and a 2008 J$1.15M. Two listings gave no year, at J$840K and J$250K. Treat a price like the second one as a deposit, a parts truck or a typo, and call before you travel.

A 2022 L200 in Kingston at J$5.38M with 70,100 km was the cheapest of the late-model trucks that day.

How it compares

This is where the L200 earns its search. Here's what the main pickups asked on the same day:

Pickup Listings (2 Oct 2026) 2016–2020 median 2021 and newer
Toyota Hilux 66 J$5.9M (11 listed) median J$8.95M (45 listed)
Ford Ranger 62 J$4.33M (14 listed) median J$9.4M (46 listed)
Nissan Frontier 10 J$4.1M–J$4.9M (2 listed) median J$7.9M (5 listed)
Mitsubishi L200 8 J$2.8M (1 listed) J$5.38M–J$7.0M (4 listed)

Two things to read into that table:

The catch is choice. With 8 L200s against 66 Hiluxes, you'll compare fewer trucks, and resale is a slower phone call. If you plan to keep the truck for years, that matters less than the money you save going in.
